The Last Time

This is so fast! Time flies really fast. It's coming to an end of July. Just 1 more week, and I am out of this busy month. I am doing very good in my new unit. Thought this is only the 7th week, but I love being there. My camp mates, my IC, the people there, are very nice people to work with. I had so much fun with them. I feel so lucky and glad that I got into this unit. Unlike other air bases where the "lao jiaos" bully the juniors.

Next week gonna be a hell for me. I will be going back to Mowbray Camp for a 1 week course. Trainings gonna be shag. But it's ok! Just 1 week, and it will pass soon. I am soooooooo looking forward to seeing my new dog, Ash, who will be with me till I ORD. And not forgetting SIMBO! I freaking miss him. Perhaps, next week is the very last time I will be seeing him. But hopefully, he is still there and not posted out yet.

I am left with 7 days of annual leave and got to plan now before they plan it for me. I need a getaway but does not have any interesting places in mind yet. hmm.. Any suggestion?

A Day Out With Fatty Joseph

I was craving for beef steaks so decided to have it at Carnivore and since they are having a promotion of 1-for-1 buffet lunch but the promo ends on this Sunday. Last week, actually wanna have it with Boon but were fully reserved. So this time, I made a reservation 4 days earlier before it's too late and surprisingly, VivoCity outlet was already fully booked but I managed to get it at Marina Bay Sands' Outlet.

The lunch was extremely filling. Had too much beef till I am sick of it. Haha. We ordered a bottle of Evian water and it cost us 10 bucks! This is so freaking ex. We even rejected their offer of a jug of coke at $8++. Lesson learnt.

After lunch, went over to Orchard to look for tomtom shoes as Joseph's shoes open mouth already. Then, went over to catch a movie, The Dark Knight Rises, at Shaw Lido. I fall asleep halfway! Because the front part was kinda boring and I could not control my eyes to open. But overall, it's a MUST WATCH show!

It's time for some.... SURPRISE!

Yeah! Celebrated Ben's 21st birthday yesterday. Sorry for the late celebration! Now most of us are busy with out own unit but we still managed to meet up and celebrate for you.

I was suppose to book out early yesterday but last minute change of duties, got stuck in the traffic jam and last minute of meeting, ended up book out 4hrs later. Poor Lincoln wasted his half day off waiting for me. And again, got to rush back home and rush out to meet up with the rest.

Met up with Lincoln and headed over to Marina Square to get a cake. We bought Swensen's Blackforest ice-cream cake. Quite nice actually but a bit too rich. Then rush over to Sakae Sushi at Suntec City. We were late for an hour! Thanks to me.

Had a really filling buffet. We ordered too much till we have to play games and force to eat it. But after all, really had a great time together!

After dinner, went over to Joel's place for mahjong session with two of his friends. I have never won a single round since the start of this year! But it's okay, it's just for fun session.

We got many friends, but only some are true.

It's time for something new! It's July now. Pretty fast, isn't it? My schedule for this month is pretty screwed up. Only this week that I can really enjoy myself. Last week, I isolated myself inside the bunk for the whole week! It's super duper bored. Eat and sleep, that's what we do.

Anyway, had a hair cut yesterday. My hair grow quite fast. Got to cut it every month without fail. Meet up with Boon today. We planned to have Carnivore for lunch at VivoCity (because of the 1-for1 buffet lunch) but, the entire restaurant was fully under reservation! We can try queuing for walk-in but the queue was too long. So we decided to have Sushi Tei instead since I am craving for sushi!

We had a really sumptuous meal. I ordered for myself just a box of rice with some tempura fritters. For Boon, he ordered so many side dishes that ends up about one quarter of my allowance! Hmm.. But he is kind enough to treat me for this meal. Thanks dude! That's one thing why I love to have buffet rather than ordering a-lar-carte. Buffet, we pay for one price and we can EAT ALL YOU CAN.
